Symptom
When using the Cash Flow Analyzer Fiori app, cash flow items with a future Value Date are incorrectly displayed or aggregated into an earlier reporting period.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Access the Cash Flow Analyzer application in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
- Set the start date to 10/29/2025 and the time period to M2.
- Observe that documents with a value date in November are mapped to October.
Cause
This behavior is standard system functionality and occurs due to how the reporting tool calculates monthly periods when a non-standard start date and the time period definition are used.
Resolution
This behavior is by design.
- To display transactions under the expected (value) month, select the first day of the month as the period start date (e.g., 10/01/2025 instead of 10/29/2025).
- If a custom period (such as "M2" for two months) is required, be aware that the grouping is determined by the period start date. Data for the entire period will be grouped under the month of the start date.
