3692815 - Is there a size limit while uploading the image through Public Content Links - Recruiting Management

Symptom

  • Users are unable to upload images larger than 1 MB to the SFTP server.
  • Error message received when attempting to upload images exceeding the size limit.

Environment

Successfactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to upload an image file larger than 1 MB to the SFTP server.
  2. Observe the error message indicating the file exceeds the allowable size limit.

Cause

Previously, we were able to upload a file of up to 250 MB through Jenkins. This was available earlier because file uploads were supported through the internal tool Jenkins. However, with the introduction of the 2H2025 Release, restrictions have been implemented on file upload data. The new feature, Public Content Links, limits the size of files that can be uploaded via the UI.

Resolution

Ensure that the image file to be uploaded complies with the size restrictions introduced in the 2H2025 Release.

Allowed file types and size limits:

  1. mp4 files up to 100 MB
  2. jpg/jpeg/png files up to 1 MB
  3. pdf/doc/docx/ppt/pptx/csv/xls/xlsx files up to 10 MB

NOTE : The already loaded exceeding sized image (which were uploaded through Jenkins) will work fine. Whenever customer wants to replace the image they should make sure that the file should be within the allowed limit.
