3692874 - How to set up a PaPM connection to an on-premise PaPM system in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Error message: "Incomplete URL path. Please check on-premise system URL address." during the creation of a PaPM connection.
• The PaPM system is hosted on-premise.

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Log in to the SAC system.
2. Navigate to Connections.
3. Add connection -> Connect to Public API -> PaPM API.
4. Tick Connect to an On-Premise PaPM service.
5. Fill in the required information.
6. Click Save.

• The issue is caused by inproper SAP cloud connector configuration. 
• The issue may also arise due to an incorrect data service URL. 

1. Configuring the Cloud Connector as per this link.
   
   • In step 11, set the URL Path as / and select 'Path and All Sub-Paths'.
2. Log in to the SAC system.
3. Navigate to Connections.
4. Add connection -> Connect to Public API -> PaPM API.
5. Tick 'Connect to an On-Premise PaPM service'.
6. Use the virtual host and virtual port in the Data Service URL. Ensure the following format:
   <PaPM HOST VIRTUAL URL>/sap/opu/odata4/nxi/p1_services/default/nxi/p1_processing/0002 .
7. Fill in the required information.
8. Click Save.
