3692941 - “View More” option missing in Microsoft Teams notifications if no Employee Central HRIS OData API permissions are given.

• Enabling HRIS OData API permissions is required to display the “View More” option in Microsoft Teams notifications in Work Tech.

• Removing the HRIS OData API permissions causes the “View More” button to disappear from workflow notification cards.

• Adding the permissions makes all fields visible in Work Tech, including fields that should remain hidden.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Login to SuccessFactors teams application.
2. Enable HRIS OData API permissions to view the "View More" option in Microsoft Teams notifications in Work Tech.  
3. Observe that all fields, including unwanted ones, are visible in the People Profile.  
4. Remove the HRIS OData API permission.  
5. Notice that the "View More" button does not display, and notifications stop functioning as expected.

When Employee Central HRIS OData API permissions are removed, the "View More" button in workflow notification cards does not appear. When permissions are added, all fields, including unwanted ones, are visible in Work Tech.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.

Workaround

If you wish to enable PPX, Engineering team suggests temporarily disabling the HRIS OData API RBP permission. This will only affect the "View More" data functionality, but the workflow notifications will continue to operate as expected.
