• The system does not allow adding a budget for WBS element X in the application 'Manage Budget Document - Project' or similar budget uploading apps.
• An error message indicates that the tolerance limit has been reached.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access the application 'Manage Budget Document - Project'.
2. Attempt to add a budget for WBS element X.
3. Observe that the system raises an error message indicating that the tolerance limit of YYY% has been reached.

Cost amounts consuming the budget exists while there is no budget data. The cost data is then checked against the newly posted budget data in Budget Availability Control (AVC).

Since the budget check is performed for the new budget data, ensure that the budget amount being uploaded is sufficient compared to the total cost amount for the WBS and the Tolerance Limit settings of the Budget Availability Control Profile in use.

• Example: if the Budget Availability Control Profile in use has the Error Tolerance Limit of 100%, please ensure the posted budget amount is at least equal or greater than the total cost amount for the WBS.
