3693170 - SWPM System Rename on MaxDB is failing with error "<SAPSID> No such installation name in file <Drive:>\<Folder>\sapdbConfig.txt"

Symptom

  • The System Rename procedure with SWPM 1.0 tool is failing at the dialog phases when sapinst is asking the MaxDB configuration file called sapdbConfig.txt with error message:
    • "<SAPSID> No such installation name in file <Drive:>\<Folder>\sapdbConfig.txt"
  • The MaxDB configuration file sapdbConfig.txt has the correct content and values 
  • The <SAPSID> information in the error message is pointing to a previously renamed <SAPSID> (which was the previous SAPSID earlier of this system)
