3693348 - Importing inactive users to SAP Analytics Cloud with error "Please enter a SAML User Mapping value"

• Error message displayed: ": Something went wrong. The user couldn't be activated or deactivated. Please try again. Correlation ID:***".
• Alert message: "Please enter a SAML User Mapping value" displayed in the EMAIL area when attempting to import inactive users.
• Issue occurs in SAC migrating from Neo to CF.
• Custom IDP enabled in SAC environment.
• No issue when importing active users.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2025.21.6

1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
2. Navigate to Security -> Users page.
3. Click "Show Former Interface".
4. Select "Import Users" -> "Import Users from File".
5. Click "Select Source File" and choose the file containing inactive users (e.g., user.csv with IS_USER_DEACTIVATED=TRUE).
6. Click Create Mapping and check the mapping, then click OK.
7. Check or uncheck the "Send email to existing users with updated information".
8. Click "Import".
9. Observe the error message: ": Something went wrong. The user couldn't be activated or deactivated. Please try again. Correlation ID: ***".
10. Search for the user and observe the alert message "Please enter a SAML User Mapping value" in the EMAIL area.
11. No issue occurs when IS_USER_DEACTIVATED is set to FALSE.
12. In the New User Interface, the same error occurs in the custom IDP environment.
