Symptom

  • In the app "Manage Credit Accounts," the business partner field displays only business partner numbers in the value help dropdown, without additional fields such as the business partner name.
  • Users are unable to see the business partner name in the dropdown list when searching by typing letter by letter.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app Manage Credit Accounts.
  2. Click on the business partner field.
  3. Search by typing letter by letter.
  4. Observe that only business partner numbers are displayed in the dropdown list, and the business partner names are not visible.

Cause

The issue is caused by missing inherited annotations in the application after a recent upgrade (reported after 2508 release).

Resolution

This issue has been identified as a product issue.

The fix is planned for delivery no later than the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2602 release. An earlier delivery via a hotfix or continuous delivery package might be possible, but the 2602 release is the guaranteed date.
