3693932 - CPQ-VC: Required Dynamic Attribute keeps marked as if not chosen after selection of value

Symptom

After selecting the attribute value for a Dynamic Attribute, making it Complete and consistent, it keeps marked red and Warning message "Entry Required" is displayed.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ Integrated with SAP Variant Configuration.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new quote.
  2. Configure Product that contains a required Dynamic Attribute
  3. Select Required Characteristics
  4. Check that it keeps marked red after selection, showing that it is required to have an entry selected.

Bug

Resolution

  • Issue: Dynamic Attribute marked as required, even though selected, keeps marked as if not selected
  • Cause: Scenario not covered during implementation of Dynamic Attributes in CPQ
  • Workaround: Refresh page after selecting attribute value
  • ETA: CPQ-2602.
