3694479 - SAP Live Link Reports Showing Empty Data

Symptom

Three SAP Live Link reports are not functioning as expected and have stopped working.

The affected reports are:

  • Size of Search Index.
  • Performance per Work Center View.
  • System Health Check Execution Status.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
  2. Select the SAP Live Link view.
  3. Choose on the "Size of Search Index" Data Package and click "View XML Content".
  4. Observe that the XML file contains no data.

Cause

Below are the causes of this issue.

  1. Size of Search Index: This is currently not relevant for this system; therefore, no data is available.
  2. Performance per Work Center View: This metric is no longer in use; as a result, the data source remains empty.
  3. System Health Check Execution Status: This information is no longer required by SPC; hence, no data is displayed.

Resolution

This is the expected behavior because the information collected by these SAP Live Link reports is either no longer relevant or is not applicable to the system.
