3694518 - Error 'Job Failed' in APP Mass Changes to Purchase Orders

Symptom

When attempting to use the fiori APP 'Mass changes to purchase Orders' the user selects the documents 
and confirms the required changes. However when they try to submit the changes an error is raised  'Job Failed'.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the APP 'Mass Changes to Purchase Orders'
  2. Select a range of purchase orders 
  3. Choose Mass Edit 
  4. Submit the changes 
  5. Error 'Job Failed' is issued in a screen pop up. 

Cause

Missing authorisations

Resolution

In the standard system the template role SAP_BR_PURCHASER is provided. This role has business catalog SAP_MM_BC_PO_MPROCESS_PC
which contains 3 IAM apps F2593_TRAN, F3332_TRAN and F8491_TRAN IAM apps these provide the access necessary.

If you have a custom role make sure it has business catalog SAP_MM_BC_PO_MPROCESS_PC included and that it 
contains these IAM apps F2593_TRAN, F3332_TRAN and F8491_TRAN which are all set to Active.
