3694547 - Mass update not possible for custom fields in VBAP/VBAK via transactions MASS, MASSD

Symptom

  • When performing a mass update using MASSD transaction to change the custom field XXXX in VBAP, the system displays a success message upon saving, but the data is not updated in the VBAP table.  
  • The customer noted that the field list is not visible when using the MASS transaction.
