3694617 - Custom CDS View/Custom Fields app does not allow assignment of Transport Requests in SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • The Custom CDS View App (ID: F1866A, Application Component: BC-SRV-APS-GKE) does not allow the assignment of Transport Requests, resulting in CDS views being created in local objects.
  • No Transport Request (TR) prompt dialog box appears when saving changes in the "Customer Fields" tile.
  • How to enable transport functionality (change a package from Local to Transportable) for CDS views created via the Custom CDS Views app or Custom Fields app or Custom Analytical Queries app.
