Symptom

In rehire data review task of Rehire on Old Employment, error occurs while accessing Compensation Information section:

No data available or you do not have the necessary permission.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Employment Profile Selection > open rehire verification task for candidate
  2. Select as Rehire on Old Employment
  3. Proceed rehire data review task until the compensation information section
  4. See error message: "No data available or you do not have the necessary permission."

Cause

Missing below permissions:

  • Miscellaneous Permissions > Bank (Edit)
  • Miscellaneous Permissions > Payment Method (Edit)
  • Target population: "External Onboarding User" type target population

Resolution

Grant the permissions to responsible user:

  • Miscellaneous Permissions > Bank (Edit)
  • Miscellaneous Permissions > Payment Method (Edit)
  • Target population: "External Onboarding User" type target population

*In case still see error for the existing impacted candidates, kindly test to add "Employee" target population type temporarily (can remove after issue is fixed per business needs).
