3694756 - "Column not found" error when Previewing Data Source in Query Designer

• Errors occur on widgets in the Story Designer, such as "We found an error while processing the request. Correlation ID: <ID>" are encountered and no data populates.
• Query validation error  "We found some issues in the query validation. For details, use the validation information in the toolbar. Correlation ID: <ID>" is displayed when attempting to preview the data source.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Edit/Run Report
2. Errors such as "We found an error while processing the request. Correlation ID: <ID>" are encountered.
3. Navigate to the Data Source, click "Preview Query"
4. Error "We found some issues in the query validation. For details, use the validation information in the toolbar. Correlation ID: <ID>" is encountered.
5. Access the Query Validation tool, one or more columns show "Column not found" under "Field Validation Findings"
   

The object this column used to exist in was modified, however as this Query was created before this modification it does not yet reflect this change. The removed column is to be deleted via the Query Validation tool prompt and the Query has to be saved to refresh.

1. Access report in Edit mode
2. Access the report's data source.
3. Click Preview Query.
4. Error occurs: "We found some issues in the query validation. For details, use the validation information in the toolbar.
   Correlation ID: <ID>"
5. Open the Query Validation tool
6. Delete the non-existing column as seen on screenshot
   
7. Click Finish on the bottom right corner to save the query.
8. When returned to the Story designer, click Data Refresh (3rd button under the Edit menu on the top left) and see that the data now populates.
9. Save the report.
