3694760 - Correction of Multiple CP Relationships to One P Object Causes Employee/Business Partner Synchronization Errors

Symptom

The following symptoms may be observed:

  • In Fiori apps such as "Manage Workflows for Purchase Requisitions", error messages like "User is not valid" occur.
  • Misalignment or incorrect relations between employee and business partner data is visible in reports such as /SHCM/R_EE_BP_RELATION_OVW.
  • Inconsistencies are seen between tables IEMPLOYEE and IEMPLOYORGDET, where one personnel number is linked to multiple CP (Central Person) objects.
  • Some employees or business users cannot be used for workflow or authorization purposes due to invalid relationships in the underlying HR tables.
