3694936 - Why SAP HANA alert "Severe issue in log backup operation" may be reported although no ongoing log backup failure is currently observed

Symptom

The SAP HANA alert “Severe issue in log backup operation” is reported in the SAP HANA alert framework or in EarlyWatch Alert (EWA).

At the time of analysis, no ongoing log backup failure is observed and current log backups are completing successfully.
