3695060 - Error message occurs for user who is terminated and rehired during Leave Loading period

If a user is terminated and rehired during the Leave Loading Period and the time profile assigned in the time slice in job info (prior to the termination record) does not have any time type with a leave loading account, then the system throws up an error message "An error occurred while calculating entitlement hours for user : Request for the leave loading payout could not be completed. Please contact your system administrator to verify the following symptom: The time profile for the employee is not configured for leave loading.."

However, as the user has a time profile (with a leave loading time account) assigned in the rehire record in job information time slice which falls within the leave loading period, the user is eligible for the Leave Loading payout.

Note: The same error is an expected behavior when the user does not have any leave loading time account assigned in the time profile during the leave loading period.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

1. Run the Leave Loading configuration job.
2. Observe the error message "An error occurred while calculating entitlement hours for user : Request for the leave loading payout could not be completed. Please contact your system administrator to verify the following symptom: The time profile for the employee is not configured for leave loading." in the job log.

This is due to a code defect.

Engineering team has created a code correction (TIM-55299) to fix this issue in the 1H 2026 release.
