3695094 - Process Flow missing at item level in "My Purchase Requisitions" app

Symptom

  • Process flow is unavailable at the item level in the "My Purchase Requisitions" app.
  • Users are unable to view the details of follow on documents in the app.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Purchase Requisition in the "My Purchase Requisitions" app.
  2. Check the status of the documents created.
  3. Observe that the process flow is missing at the item level and follow on document details are not visible.

Cause

This is a misinterpretation of the UI behavior in the My Purchase Requisitions app.

The app does not display the process flow directly in the PR item list view. Instead:

  • The item list only shows a status indicator, such as “Follow-on Document Created”.

  • The detailed process flow is available within the item’s Status Details view, not on the overview screen.

Resolution

The process flow is available and working as designed. To view the process flow at item level:

  1. Open the My Purchase Requisitions app.

  2. Select the relevant Purchase Requisition.

  3. Click on the PR item.

  4. Navigate to Status Details.

  5. The system displays the end-to-end process flow, including:

    • Purchase Requisition

    • Follow-on documents (e.g. Purchase Order)

    • Current processing status

This behavior is standard design and does not require additional configuration.
