3695120 - Content Reactivation Required for Cloud WM Configuration During Solution Builder to CBC Conversion - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

During CBC system conversion testing, differences are detected between Solution Builder–based systems and CBC-based systems in one or more configuration settings relevant to Cloud Warehouse Management (WM).

The inconsistencies can occur in the following SSCUIs and related tables:

  • /SCDL/VC_RD_CPROF – Define Reference Document Type Profiles
    Table: /SCDL/TRD_CATTRV

  • /SCDL/VC_PC_CPROF – Maintain Process Code Profiles
    Table: /SCDL/TPC_CATTRV

  • /SCDL/VC_DT_CPROF – Define Date Profiles
    Table: /SCDL/TDT_CATTRV

If the configuration is not corrected, issues in warehouse delivery processing may occur in specific scenarios.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The issue is caused by an application coding inconsistency affecting the above configuration content during CBC system conversion.

Resolution

The application coding issue has been corrected with SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2502 Hotfix and will also be included in 2508 CE. In addition, SAP has planned a content correction with 2608 CE.

In scenarios where the system conversion from Solution Builder to CBC is planned before Q2 2026, it is strongly recommended to correct the affected configuration content prior to the conversion. Performing the content reactivation in advance helps prevent potential consequential errors and reduces additional effort during or after the conversion.

For Solution Builder–based systems, the corrected application coding alone is not sufficient. The relevant configuration content must be reactivated to ensure consistency of the following customizing settings:

  • /SCDL/VC_RD_CPROF – Define Reference Document Type Profiles

  • /SCDL/VC_PC_CPROF – Maintain Process Code Profiles

  • /SCDL/VC_DT_CPROF – Define Date Profiles

Required Action

  1. Create an incident under component:
    SCM-EWM-CNT-2CL

  2. Request SAP to perform a content reactivation for the affected configuration using a Test solution in the Solution Builder.

  3. Provide a Business Configuration Project (BCP) to allow SAP to record and execute the change.

    • The BCP does not need to be a clean BCP.
