3695559 - class and characteristic data erased during material replication from MDG to SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • When a material is updated in MDG, the class and characteristic data maintained for the material are erased in the SAP S/4HANA system.
  • SOA replication payload does not include the class and characteristic data from MDG to SAP S/4HANA.
  • The missing data in the replication payload is interpreted by SAP S/4HANA as deletion, leading to the removal of class and characteristic data from the material master in the target system.
