3695620 - AspectJ Weaving Not Working Due to Lack of Injection in JVM Startup in SAP Commerce Cloud Builds

Symptom

AspectJ aspects are not working in recent builds (starting December first half), although they work in local environments. These aspects are not working in builds from the same branch but created at different times.

The first build was created in October, while the second one was created in December. Aspects function properly in the first build but not in the second, despite both being created from the exact same source at different times.

JVM is started without the following args:

-javaagent:/opt/hybris/bin/platform/ext/core/lib/aspectjweaver-1.9.22.1.jar -Dorg.aspectj.tracing.enabled=false -Daj.weaving.verbose=false -Dorg.aspectj.weaver.showWeaveInfo=false
