Symptom
- The Bank Statement Monitor application does not display any end-of-day bank statement data.
- Data exists in the system and is visible in the Manage Bank Statements application.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Bank Statement Monitor (F6388) application.
- Enter selection criteria (e.g., Company Code, Key Date) and click "Go".
- No results are displayed in the monitoring list.
Cause
The Bank Statement Monitor application only displays data for bank accounts that are explicitly configured for monitoring.
If a bank statement is imported but the corresponding bank account master data lacks the required monitoring settings, the data will not be selected and displayed in the monitor app.
Resolution
The issue is resolved by checking and updating the bank account master data settings in the Manage Bank Accounts application.
- Navigate to Manage Bank Accounts.
- Select the relevant bank account for which the statements are missing in the monitor.
- Navigate to General Data, and ensure the following four indicator in the "End-of-Day Bank Statement" set to 'Yes':
- Processing Status
- Difference Status
- Serial Number Status
- Reconciliation Status
- Save the changes to the bank account master data.
If the issue persists after the above configuration, ensure that the background job to update the monitor data, Schedule Jobs for Bank Statement Monitor, is running successfully and not ending with an error in the log.
