3695800 - Reminder emails do not work for Buddy Assignment Templates - Onboarding

Reminder emails do not work for email templates with the Buddy Assignment Trigger.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to email services.
2. Configure an email template with the email trigger - Buddy Assignment Trigger.
3. In the configured template, create a reminder to trigger before or after the initial email is sent.
4. Following this, complete the buddy task, assign a buddy to the onboardee and see that the initial email triggers.
5. Allow time for the reminder to trigger as per the configuration and see that no reminder triggers.

This is expected behavior.

• Reminders will not trigger for templates with the buddy assignment trigger.
• This is because the task is in status completed so there is no due date for the reminder to be triggered from.
• Enhancement requests can be submitted following KBA 2090228.
