3696006 - 'refused to connect' error when accessing an application deployed to the Work Zone with a nested domain

Symptom

  • You have deployed an application for the Work Zone, however it is failing to load, displaying only a "<URL> refused to connect".

  • This application opens another one and the URLs are nested in the following way:
    • Original Application: opening inside Work Zone in a iFrame using sapdelim domain
    • Second Application: opening inside sapdelim iFrame
      • Since the second application is being opened by the original one, you have the Work Zone being opened inside a sapdelim iFrame, which results in the issue.
  • In the console logs, you find an message 'Framing '<URL>' violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "frame-ancestors 'self' <LIST OF URLs>". The request has been blocked.'
  • In the network trace, you can find a call returning with a net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE. When hovering the mouse over it, you get the message 'A response header may have blocked the use of this resource, e.g. X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN would prevent a resource from a different site being embedded in an iframe'.
