3696078 - Non-assigned course surveys not showing on the homepage

Symptom

Certain scenarios do not properly display an assigned survey to end users such as but not limited to:

  • Item is not assigned to the user. The Other type item has a completion recorded by an administrator.
  • Item is not assigned to the user. The completion record is created by the Connectors or Import Data Tool.
  • External Users do not receive an email notification for the assigned surveys when a completion is provided on a non-assigned item.
  • An authorized to teach instructor records completion for an ad-hoc class to users that are not assigned the item.
