3696090 - Manufacturer field is not updated in the quality level with an inspection lot of origin 17

• You activate quality management and dynamic modification for the material.
• After the goods receipts for a purchase order, an inspection lot is generated and the quality level is updated.
• However, when the receiving storage location is EWM-managed, which means the inspection lot origin is 17, the "Manufacturer" field in the quality level is not filled with the value in the purchase order.

This issue is caused by the settings for the inspection lot origin.

In configuration activity 102518 - Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types, an Dynamic Modification Criteria is assigned to each origin. This, together with the settings in the inspection plan, determines which fields will be updated in the quality level by the goods receipt inspection lot.

For inspection lot origin 17, the default dynamic modification criteria  is "001 - Material". As a result, the manufacturer will not be updated.

Change the dynamic modification criteria for inspection lot origin 17 to "005 - Material, Supplier and Manufacturer" to make the manufacturer being updated.

In the meantime, also make sure that the manufacturer indicator is set in the "Dynamic modification" section in the inspection plan of the material if an inspection plan is used.
