3696205 - Missing Depreciation Area in Manage Fixed Assets app - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

After completing configuration activity: Accounting Principle Assignment to Ledger and Company Code, the depreciation area is still not available in the manage fixed assets app - valuation view.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Check configuration activity: 'Make Valuation View-Dependent Settings for Asset Class' (ID: 102609).
2. Check the settings for asset class AAA(AAA represents the asset class).
3. Confirm that for AAA, there is missing valuation views for the specific company.

The valuation views that are not assigned are inactive in the asset class and as such also in the corresponding depreciation areas in the asset master record.

For example, the local valuation views (for example, 0DE_0001 Book Depreciation and 0DE_0015 Local Tax) are not assigned; the valuation view for IFRS (for example, 0IFRS_0032 IFRS) is assigned. In the asset class, only the valuation view for IFRS is active; when creating an asset master record, only the corresponding depreciation areas for the valuation view IFRS are proposed as default values.

Maintain the valuation views dependent on the accounts principle assigned to the company code.
