Background
The existing issuing CA (ICA) certificate, SAP Passport CA G2, has had its validity extended until 30 December 2027.
Impact:
There is no immediate impact on existing certificate mappings or outbound integrations for SAP C4C. Current integrations will continue to function as expected using the existing SAP Passport CA G2 certificate, which remains valid until 18 December 2026.
However, from the first week of February 2026, tenant certificates will be renewed with a new SAP Passport CA G2 certificate that has an extended validity until 30 December 2027. If the new certificate is not proactively added to the target system trust list, outbound integrations may fail once the ICA chain is switched during certificate renewal.
To avoid any potential disruption, customers are advised to add the new SAP Passport CA G2 certificate to their target system trust store in advance.
