3696586 - Unable to extend Counterparty role of a Business Partner to Company Codes

• Business partner created as a person or organization cannot be extended to multiple company codes under the counterparty role.
• After saving the business partner, company code details are not visible.

S/4 HANA Public Cloud Edition

1. Open the Maintain Business Partner application.
2. Create a business partner as an organization or person.
3. Save the data.
4. Add the counterparty role TR0151.
5. Add the company code and save.
6. Re-enter to verify; company code details are not present.

A Business Partner in the role of counterparty is a contract partner in a financial transaction.

1. When adding the company code through the counterparty role, ensure SI payment details are added for the company code.
2. Include financial data during the process.
3. Save the data to ensure company code details are retained.
