3696603 - Newly created company not appearing in General Ledger work center

Newly created company is not appearing in the General Ledger view Sets of Books and Assigned Companies.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the General Ledger Work center.
2. Go to Sets of Books and Assigned Companies Sub view.
3. Search for Company ABC (ABC represents the Company ID of the newly created company).

Company ABC is not available.

Inconsistency may happened during the New company creation.

To correct this inconsistency for Company ABC you need to complete a dummy change on the company.

1. Go to the Organizational Management work center.
2. Select the view Org Structures.
3. Find and locate Company ABC.
4. Select Edit.
5. Complete a change such as Editing the Company name.
6. Save the changes and Activate the change.
7. Then change the name back to the original.
8. Save the changes and activate again.

The company should now be visible for all users in the organization.
