3696759 - Role history compare ignores MDF permissions change

Symptom

Changes made in MDF permissions are reflecting in the audit report but not in the history of role-based permissions.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • Metadata framework

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the instance
  2. Select Admin Center
  3. Select manage permission roles
  4. Click on the "permission role"
  5. Click on “View history”
  6. Select former and current modifications dates
  7. Click on compare

Cause

This is an expected behavior.

Resolution

  • Role history compare will ignore MDF permissions change, you can click show All button in role history page, and you can see warning message like below:

'Only the latest MDF permissions are displayed. Comparison is not supported'.

  • MDF permissions are not supported for Comparison.
