3697138 - Best Practice for Connecting SAP Signavio to Power BI

We are attempting to connect SAP Signavio to Power BI to extract process data from Process Manager. For this purpose, we are using a technical user with the API License.

Would like to know if there are any recommended or best-practice methods, provided or endorsed by SAP, for connecting Signavio with Power BI or other reporting/analytics tools. Any guidance, documentation, or recommended integration approaches would be greatly appreciated.

SAP Signavio does not provide a native Power BI connector.

Integration is supported via product-specific SAP Signavio APIs:

• Process Manager APIs – repository, governance, and dictionary reporting.
• Process Intelligence Export API – process mining data and KPIs (JSON/CSV)

Use a dedicated technical user with an API license. Process Intelligence is the recommended option for advanced analytics in Power BI.
