3697156 - Work Permit data not visible for employees with multiple employments in Latest People Profile - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Employees with multiple employments are unable to view Work Permit data in the Latest People Profile.
• Administrators can view the Work Permit data without issue.
• Employees with single employment or those using the old People Profile can view the Work Permit data successfully.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Proxy as an employee with multiple employments.
2. Navigate to their profile and verify that there is no data for the Work Permit portlet under the Employment Information section.
3. Proxy as an employee with a single employment.
4. Navigate to their profile and verify that Work Permit data is visible.
5. Confirm both employees are part of the same Permission Role.

• The Latest People Profile applies stricter validation rules for displaying data, which impacts employees with multiple employments.
• RPB's target population is "Granted User (Self)". So, impacted employees have multiple employments and their Work Permits don't belong to their login account (primary employment).

There is a plan to deploy the fix patch in 2H 2026 Release, which is about to be confirmed. Click on star to bookmark this article to receive updates about this issue. In the meantime, the following workarounds are available:

1. Work Permit Full Purge as per KBA2694050. Or
2. Steps below:
   1. Admin go to the employee's people profile. And confirm current profile is his/her primary employment's profile.
   2. Go to Work Permit card.
   3. Click Edit. Find an blank field of one Work Permit to do some dummy change.
   4. Save. 
   5. Then, edit it back to blank.
   6. Save.
   7. All the Work Permits belonging to the employee will be moved to primary employment.
