3697168 - Purchase Order with attachment failing in SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network

Symptom

When there is an attachment added in the Purchase Order (PO), it fails in SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network with the error below:
java.lang.Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke method decodeBase64() on null object@ line 102 in processCCSolution.groovy.
