3697186 - Incorrect Planned Delivery Date in 3pl Request.

The planned delivery date in the 3PL Request is different from the requested delivery date in the sales order.

1. Go to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Open the Customer Demand view.
3. Search for the relevant sales order.
4. Navigate to the Schedule Lines sub-tab.
5. Observe the requested delivery date.

1. Go to third party logistics work center
2. Open 3PL Requests sub-view under 3PL Outbound view.
3. Search with the relevant 3PL Requests or sales order ID.
4. Observe the Planned Delivery Date is different then the requested delivery date from the customer demand.

The observed mismatch occurs when the Delivery Priority in the sales order is set to “Immediate.” This delivery priority is not only used to automatically release customer demand, but it also instructs the system to prioritize stock allocation and shipment as soon as possible, rather than strictly following the Requested Delivery Date from the sales order.

When the delivery priority is set to Immediate, the system calculates the Planned Shipment Date and Planned Delivery Date based on the earliest possible delivery, using:

• Goods Issue time maintained in the product master data, and
• Shipping duration maintained in the transportation lane.

While creating a new sales order, change the Delivery Priority from “Immediate” to “Normal”.

1. Go to Sales Order Work center.
2. Select New Sales Order(Advanced) under common task.
3. In general tab, change the Delivery Priority from “Immediate” to “Normal”.

Note: Changing the delivery priority from “Immediate” to “Normal” for a sales order where the 3PL request has already been created will not update the existing Planned Shipment Date and Planned Delivery Date in 3PL request.
