3697489 - "Disconnected Hierarchy Found" Error When Trying to Migrate Product Hierarchy

You are using the Migration Cockpit app to migrate Product Hierarchies, however in the simulation step, the following error is raised:

"Disconnected Hierarchy Found"

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Migration Cockpit app.
2. Enter the migration project.
3. Search for the migration object Product Hierarchy.
4. Click on the link for the errors in the Simulation section of the migration object.

In the structure defined in the migration template, there is a node which is defined as child of a node that was not declared in the template.

For example, the template has a row defining node X, which has as parent node Y. However there is no row in the template for node Y.

The system works as expected. The migration template needs to be adjusted to ensure every node is connected to the root node of the hierarchy.
