3697529 - ABAW fails with AA629 on AuC after prior-year revaluation and settlements

When posting a revaluation using transaction ABAW / ABAWL for an Asset under Construction (AuC), the system issues error message:

AA629 – “Enter a transaction type that matches the values of fixed asset …”

The error occurs independently of the transaction type used (prior-year or current-year revaluation transaction types) and regardless of the amount entered.

The issue typically appears after:

• prior-year revaluation postings were successfully posted earlier in the fiscal year, and

• prior-year APC values of the AuC were later reduced to zero (for example by negative settlements), and

• new current-year APC values were posted afterwards.
