3697550 - masterDataId Is Replaced Instead of Appended During Profile Update in SAP Customer Data Platform

Symptom

  • When ingesting a file to update existing profiles, the profile is correctly matched using the email address, but the existing masterDataId is overwritten.
  • The expected behavior is that the new value should be appended while keeping the existing identifier. 
  • The actual behavior is that the value of masterDataId is replaced.
