3697580 - Error 400 when selecting a custom theme - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Communication scenario UI Theme Designer Integration (SAP_COM_0623) is set up.
• When trying to select a custom theme in the User Profile Settings, the following error is displayed: "Some changes could not be saved. Error (400, Bad Request) in OData response for PUT '/sap/opu/odata/UI2/INTEROP/UserProfileProperties(id='THEME',shellType='FLP')': HTTP request failed Details: Value for UserProfileProperty not supplied."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Log into SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
2. Navigate to User > Settings > Appearance.
3. Select the custom theme.
4. Click on Save.
5. Observe the error message: "Some changes could not be saved. Error (400, Bad Request) in OData response for PUT '/sap/opu/odata/UI2/INTEROP/UserProfileProperties(id='THEME',shellType='FLP')': HTTP request failed Details: Value for UserProfileProperty not supplied."

As workaround, please add the theme as "Additional Theme ID" in the communication arrangement (communication scenario SAP_COM_0623).

Use this workaround while SAP works on a permanent fix for the issue.
