3697998 - Street Address Not Reflected in Invoice Output Form -SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Street address details are not printed in the invoice output form in "Manage Billing Documents"(F0797) app.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a billing document and confirm that the correct address is displayed in the "Manage Billing Documents"(F0797) app.
  2. Generate the invoice output form preview.
  3. Verify that the address displayed in the invoice output form has street details or not.
  4. Check the output XML to confirm the address.

Cause

The system prioritizes the "Post Office Box" address over the "Street Address" when generating the invoice output form. To ensure effective delivery, the "Post Office Box" address is used, and therefore the "Street Address" is not printed when a "Post Office Box" is maintained.

Resolution

  • This is standard system behavior, where the "Post Office Box" address is prioritized over the "Street Address". 
  • In addition, users can vary the following parameters by 'Print Preview' pushbutton in app "Maintain Business Partner"(BP) which has options like:
    1. P - PO Box has priority over street.
    2. S - Street has priority over PO Box.
