Symptom

  • In the Company Structure Overview (CSO), when logged in as a specific user, the message "{0} {1} has no positions assigned" is displayed under the organizational unit Department.
  • The message is unclear and does not provide meaningful information.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access to the instance
  2. Proxy in the user, if needed
  3. Navigate to the Position Org Chart.
  4. Select the Company Structure Overview (CSO):
    1. Choose the affected Company Structures
    2. Search for affected Department
    3. Click on Position Any Department.
    4. Observe the message "{0} {1} has no positions assigned".

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution to improve the message text to adapt the message text.
