3698056 - Purchase Order OWL Search Does Not Return Results for Extension Field

Purchase Orders with keywords in the extension field ABC (ABC represents an Extension field) do not appear in the Purchase Order OWL search

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Go to the Purchase Orders view.
3. Enable "All Purchase Orders" in the drop-down menu.
4. Search for the keyword "*DEF*" (DEF represents the keyword in the Field ABC).
5. Observe that Purchase Orders are not listed in OWL.

Since the extension field "ABC" is not enabled in the advanced filter of the Purchase Order OWL, Purchase Orders with the keyword "*DEF*" in the "ABC" field are not displayed.

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Go to the Purchase Orders view.
3. Enable "All Purchase Orders" in the drop-down menu.
4. Open Advanced Filter option.
5. Access Key User Settings and start Adaptation Mode.
6. Click on the "+" symbol to add fields.
7. Search for the "ABC" field and ensure it is added.
8. Publish the changes.
9. Search for the keyword "*DEF*" in the Purchase Order OWL.
10. Verify that Purchase Orders with the keyword in the "ABC" field are now listed.
