3698153 - Unable to delete expired external learning requests

Users are unable to delete expired external learning requests in SAP SuccessFactors Learning. This issue occurs both from the user view and the administration side.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

From the user view: 

1. Access the SuccessFactors system.
2. Navigate to the 'Learning' module.
3. Click the 'Activities' menu.
4. Select 'External Learning Request'.
5. Look for Expired requests.
6. No option is available to delete or remove the request. 

From the administration side:

1. Access Learning Administration.
2. Navigate to People-> Users.
3. Search and open the user record.
4. Select the 'External Learning Request' tab
5. Click the 'Action' menu
6. No option is available to delete or remove requests. 

This is an expected behavior of the system. 

Expired External Learning Requests cannot be deleted from either the user or the admin side, as there is currently no option available for deletion.

• To request this functionality in a future release of LMS, please submit an enhancement request by referring to the KBA - 2090228.
• If your business requires deletion of expired external learning requests, contact the SAP Professional Services team to review the scenario and check feasibility for deletion via a script. You can contact them by referring to KBA - 2149831.

• The Start Date and End Date on the External Learning Request are originates by the 'Start' and 'Complete' settings in the External Learning Requests configuration, and the 'Training Start Date' and 'Training End Date' fields chosen by the user in the form.

2. Is it possible to make the start and end dates optional or hide them from the External Learning Request form?

• This is currently not possible because certain fields (such as Course Title, Start Date, Completion Date, etc.) are mandatory by default in the form. At this time, there is no option to hide or remove these fields.
