3698271 - Error Messages During Manual Tax Entry Upload -Tax not yet calculated. At least one tax relevant item has to be created

When trying to create a manual tax entry, either via Excel upload or directly in the Tax Management work center an error message appears: "Tax not yet calculated. At least one tax relevant item has to be created."

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to VAT Tax entries.
2. Select "New" and choose "Tax entry from Microsoft Excel."
3. Enter the data in the Excel file and press "Save data to."
4. Observe the errors "Tax not yet calculated. At least one tax relevant item has to be created" appearing. 

No tax codes are maintained for any of the posting lines, making the entries non-tax relevant.

Maintain a tax code for at least one posting line to make the entries tax relevant.
