3698321 - Cancel Item Button Grayed Out in Inbound Delivery Notification Even When its Fulfilled Quantity in Following Warehouse Order is Zero

An inbound delivery notification has multiple line items and all have finished inbound delivery process. Now undo release following inbound delivery, perform adjustment confirmation against one line item in corresponding inbound warehouse order to make its fulfilled quantity as zero. Check in this inbound delivery notification, under tab Line Items, button Cancel Item is grayed out for corresponding line item.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to work center Inbound Logistics, access view Inbound Delivery Notifications.
2. Search notification ABC and click Edit.
3. Select tab Document Flow and open warehouse order DEF.
4. Click button Adjustment Confirmation, deduct the fulfilled quantity of product XYZ to zero.
5. Go back to notification ABC and select tab Line Items. Find product XYZ, observe that the button Cancel Item is grayed out.

*ABC, DEF represent document ID

*XYZ represents product ID

• The prerequisite to enable the Cancel Item button is that the inbound delivery notification must be in Not Released status.
• When reversing the inbound delivery, only after all line items have been adjusted to zero fulfilled quantity in the warehouse order, can the button Actions - Cancel Warehouse Request be enabled in preceding inbound delivery notification.
• Only after the Cancel Warehouse Request button is clicked in the inbound delivery notification, will the following warehouse request be canceled, and Release Status of the inbound delivery notification change to Not Released. 
• At this point, the Cancel Item button becomes enabled for all line items.

System standard behavior.

If cancel a specific inbound delivery notification line item is a must, then perform adjust confirmation in following warehouse order to make fulfilled quantity as zero for all line items, click button Actions - Cancel Warehouse Request in the inbound delivery notification, cancel that specific line item, then post goods receipt again for other line items.
