3698556 - "[URL] refused to connect" error when accessing Corporate Carbon Footprint apps in SAP Sustainability Control Tower

Symptom

When trying to open an application related to Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) in SAP Sustainability Control Tower, such as "Manage Emission Factors", the application fails to load. Although the user has the necessary authorization roles and the app tile is visible on the Fiori Launchpad, clicking on it results in a blank page or an error message stating: <authentication URL> refused to connect.
