3698600 - Error encountered when submitting Personal Data Collection - Onboarding

The following error is encountered when trying to submit Personal Data Collection: "java.lang.IllegalStateException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: javax.persistence: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: could not execute batch"

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Login as onboardee
2. Go to Personal Data Collection task
3. Try to submit Personal Data Collection
4. The following error appears: "java.lang.IllegalStateException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: javax.persistence: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: could not execute batch"

The error is due to unsupported HRIS-sync mapping defined in the system.

1. Run Check Tool > Employee Central HRIS Sync to identify incorrectly defined fields in Manage Business Configuration > Employee Central > HRIS Sync Mappings.
2. Ensure that the system synchronizes Employee Central data based on hard-coded sync mappings from HRIS fields to standard elements.
3. Avoid deleting or duplicating hard-coded sync mappings to prevent unexpected behaviors.
