3698613 - error 'shared library could not be loaded' during "R3load -testconnect" execution

Symptom

  • SWPM failed during the "R3load -testconnect" phase with the error message: 'shared library could not be loaded'.
  • The same error occurs when running "R3load -testconnect" directly from the OS level. The "R3load.exe.log" does not contain any information about the library name.
  • After increasing the trace level of R3load(set the OS environment R3LOAD_TL=5) and running the "R3load -testconnect" command again, the following error was observed:

function DbSlExpFuns loaded from library /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run/dboraslib.so
*** ERROR => Version mismatch between executable (753.02) and DBSL shared library (721.02)
