Symptom

Refreshing the Web Intelligence document using the SAP HANA OLAP connection with the MDX connector in BI 2025 failed with the following error:

>> "HANA MDX-based OLAP universes and connections are not supported in this release. Please use BICS-based universes and connections instead." For additional details, please refer to SAP Knowledge Base Article 3509206 on the SAP Support Portal.
